NUSA PENIDA, Bali - Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Resort, Nusa Penida, participated in beach cleaning in conjuction with Nusa Penida Festival held on Batununggul beach on Friday (10/06/2023).
In conjunction with Nusa Penida Festival, Deep Roots Dive and Yoga resort participated in a beach clean-up. The beach clean-up was held on Batununggul beach and joined by all communities of Nusa Penida, from elementary schools, hotels, and other government institutions. This activity was also attended by Head of Klungkung Regency (Bupati) Bapak I Nyoman Suwirta.
Fisson Sila Hari, CHA, S.Pd, M.Pd, General Manager of Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Resort, said that this activity should be done continuously and regularly to keep the beaches clean as Nusa Penida is famous for its beaches. In addition, this program is in line with the recent award that was received by Deep Roots as Best Choice in - Sustainable Resort 2023.
Nusa Penida Festival is held from 5 October to 7 October which involves activities such as Fashion Show, Stand-up comedy, turtle release, beach clean-ups, coral planting, drawing activity, Zumba party and many more.
The festival will come to an end on 7 October 2023, with a closing performance by PAS a popular national band at Lapangan Umum Sampalan.
